CSV Column Mapper & Renamer
Rename and reorder CSV headers to match the columns an importer expects, so a spreadsheet from one system loads into another without hand editing.
How to use
- Paste the CSV with its existing headers.
- Rename and reorder the columns.
- Copy the remapped CSV.
Frequently asked questions
Why does column order matter?
Because plenty of importers are positional rather than name-based, so a file with the right headers in the wrong order silently loads data into the wrong fields.
Does renaming touch the data rows?
No, only the header line changes. Reordering moves each column's values with it, so rows stay intact.
Can I drop a column entirely?
Remove it from the mapping and it is left out of the output, which is the usual way to strip a field an importer rejects.
What about the header casing?
Rename to exactly what the target expects. Many importers match case-sensitively, so Email and email are not the same field to them.
