Which effects are available?

Grayscale, sepia, invert and blur. Each is applied to every frame, so the treatment is consistent for the whole loop.

Is the animation preserved?

Yes. Frame order and per-frame delays are untouched; only the pixel values change, so the loop plays exactly as it did before.

Can I stack two effects?

Run the output through again. Grayscale followed by blur, for instance, gives a soft monochrome look that neither setting produces on its own.

Why did my file size change?

Grayscale and sepia shrink the palette, which usually makes the file smaller. Blur smooths detail and often shrinks it further; invert tends to leave it about the same.
