HP 15C Calculator Online
The HP 15C scientific calculator in your browser, every key working. Click it or type on your keyboard: complex numbers, matrices, SOLVE, integration and programs, with the RPN stack shown as you go.
What is HP 15C Calculator?
The HP 15C is HP’s programmable RPN scientific calculator from 1982, known for doing complex arithmetic, matrix operations, root finding and numeric integration on a pocket keyboard. This HP 15C calculator online gives you the whole keyboard in the browser: trigonometry in degrees, radians or grads, complex mode, matrices up to the memory limit, SOLVE and ∫xy, statistics, flags and keystroke programs with labels and subroutines. A side panel shows the four-level stack while you work.
How to use
- Click the calculator, then press its keys or type on your keyboard.
- Key a number, press ENTER, key the next number and press an operation.

Frequently asked questions
How do I enter a complex number on the HP 15C?
Key the real part, press ENTER, key the imaginary part, then press f I. The C annunciator lights to show complex mode is on, and the display shows the real part. Hold f (i) to see the imaginary part. Every function that accepts complex input, including SIN, LN and square root, then works on the whole number.
How does SOLVE find a root?
Write the function as a program under a label, put two initial guesses in Y and X, and press f SOLVE followed by the label. The calculator samples the function, narrows the interval and returns the root in X. If it cannot find one it shows Error 8, which usually means the guesses need to be closer to a sign change.
Can I use my computer keyboard?
Yes. Click the calculator once to give it focus, then type digits, + - * /, Enter for ENTER, and f and g for the shift keys. The letters A to E press the top-row keys. Open Keyboard Shortcuts under the calculator for the full map of every key.
Are my programs and matrices kept when I close the page?
Yes. The stack, the storage registers, matrices, flags and program memory are saved in your browser, the same way the real 15C keeps its continuous memory with the power off. Save memory downloads everything as a file, and Load memory restores it on another computer.
