Frequently asked questions

What if the audio is longer than the video?

The track is cut at the end of the picture. Trim the audio first, or set a later start offset, if you want a specific section to play.

What if it is shorter?

The remainder of the video plays silent. There is no automatic loop, so extend or merge the audio beforehand if you need it to cover the whole clip.

Does it replace existing audio?

Yes, the new track becomes the audio. To keep both, mix them into a single file first with the audio merge tool.

Why can I offset the start?

To line the sound up with the picture. Music that should drop on a cut, or narration that starts after a title card, both need the track pushed later.
