Frequently asked questions

Where does the freeze go?

At the timestamp you enter, in seconds from the start. The frame at that point is held for the pause duration, then the clip carries on from where it stopped.

Does the audio keep playing during the hold?

No. The audio is held with the picture, so the pause is silent. If you need music to continue under a freeze, add the track afterwards.

How long is the clip afterwards?

The original length plus the pause. A 20 second video with a 3 second freeze exports at 23 seconds.

Can I add more than one freeze?

One per pass. Run the export through again with a new timestamp to stack a second hold, remembering the first freeze shifted everything after it.
